I had a fantastic stay at Grand Makel Hotel in Istanbul. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is great — close to public transportation and easy to get around. A special shoutout to Mr. Ömür from the restaurant staff. He was always kind, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed during breakfast. His warm attitude truly made a difference in my stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and I especially enjoyed the Turkish tea and desserts. I felt very welcome and comfortable throughout my visit. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely come back!

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The location is also perfect for exploring the city. However, what we appreciated the most was the warm welcome and professional service from Mahmud and Sibel at the reception. Really nice hotel with clean comfortable rooms. Breakfast was quite good and a really nice view of Istanbul from the dining room. The hotel is located in a commercial area with lots of nearby restaurants, fast food places, grocery supermarket that make it really convenient. Restaurants in the area are much more reasonably priced compared to those downtown catering to tourists. The tram and bus station are a short 10 minute walk away. It is about 20-30 minutes to get to Sultanahmet.
